Since I was a little boy, I have been fascinated by performacne and luxury cars from all over the world. As soon as I was old enough to drive, I decided I would buy, sell and trade cars. My first car was a $600 Ford Taurus and I worked up to a supercharged Mustang. After graduating school I relocated to Hickory, NC, where I started working at Armstrong Ford. I had some great teachers along the way, including Terry Moore and Travis Chatham who showed me the "ins and outs" of the automotive industry. I moved to Hendrick BMW and Mercedes and sold brand new luxury cars.

After being in the business for a short time, I realized in my heart that I wanted to go out on my own to change the car buying experience. God by my side, I set out with $2,000 cash and a couple of credit cards to open Cosmo Motors. It's been a long, bumpy road with many trials and tribulations, but I have been very blessed.

CHANCE PARSONS

Hello all, I'm Chance Parsons! I grew up in a small town close to Hickory, NC and I absolutely love it here. Upon finishing school, I decided to join the US Military. After serving in Iraq, I was lucky enough to meet Cosmo. We discovered that we shared a mutual taste in cars. At this point in time, I had a modified M3 and he had a Supra that was much faster (go figure..haha)! When Cosmo opened his first dealership just down the road from my stepdads dealership, his enthusiastic passion made me want to work for him at Cosmo Motors.

In January of 2008, Cosmo Motors was very small with only two sales representatives. Upon releasing one for personal reasons, the dealership was shorthanded. In between my classes I would just stop by and hangout. On a Tuesday afternoon, I stopped by on my break again. Cosmo was shorthanded, so as any friend would do, I stepped in to help before I even started working for this great company. I will always remember this Tuesday because I ended up selling a car. That Thursday, I stopped by on my break and a rush came through again. I sold my second car for Cosmo on this day. On Friday, Cosmo came in and offered me a job at the place I now call home. Today, I am the General Sales/Finance Manager at Cosmo Motors! The opportunity presented to me by Cosmo has been a total life changer. I found a family and a job that I love waking up and going to every day.

NATHAN STARNES

Recon Director

Hey, I'm Nathan Starnes, and I've spent over two decades immersed in the automotive world. As the Recon Director at Cosmo Motors, I've honed my skills and knowledge to bring cars back to their prime condition. My fascination with vehicles started early, and I chose the path of a mechanic because I knew the automotive industry would always be a cornerstone of our lives. There's a unique satisfaction in resurrecting what others might see as beyond repair. Taking something that doesn't work and bringing it back to life is incredibly rewarding.

Since 2009, I've been a proud member of the Cosmo Motors family, and it's been a fantastic journey of growth and camaraderie. It's here that I've found a team that shares my passion for automobiles and a dedication to delivering top-notch service.

Outside of work, you'll often find me behind the wheel of my dirt car, tearing up the local tracks in the Thunder Bomber and Renegade divisions. Racing isn't just a hobby for me; it's a way to feed my adrenaline and put my skills to the test. Family is everything to me, and I cherish every moment I spend with them. Whether we're enjoying the outdoors or tending to our farm, those moments together are priceless.

Life in the fast lane of the automotive world and the exhilaration of racing are balanced by the simple joys of family time and the bonding moments spent outside. It's a diverse mix that keeps me grounded and fulfilled.

JACOB BISHOP

Auto Spa Manager

My name is Jacob Bishop, and I am originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in June of 2010. I served 6 years in the Marine Corps before starting my sales career working at Nels Gunderson Chevrolet for 5 years in Wisconsin. I then worked in the jewelry and pawn business for 5 years. I soon realized that cars were my passion. I have owned Audis, BMWs, Camaros, and sport bikes! I started here at Cosmo Motors in sales in March of 2020 when I made the move to North Carolina to help with my family. I loved helping clients in their car buying process. The Cosmo Motors environment fits my personality beautifully. The no pressure sales, and the professionalism that Cosmo creates is something unlike any dealership I've been to, much less worked for! In Decemeber of 2022, I made the transition to manager of Cosmo Motors Auto Spa! Taking over a full team of automotive detail technicians and sharing my automotive passion with them, while learning the ins and outs of automotive detailing has opened a whole new world for me. Having many hours of specialized training in paint correction, ceramic coatings, paint protection film installation, and interior rejuvenation; I am able to look at your vehicle and help you receive the best appearance possible! I am John, and I'm thrilled to be part of the Cosmo Motors family, bringing with me nearly three decades of invaluable experience in dealership service departments. As a seasoned ASE Certified Master Tech, I take pride in my extensive training and certification in Dealership Service Management. Having spent a considerable portion of my life in Hickory, it's safe to say that I'm deeply rooted in this community.

For the past ten years, I've also worn the hat of an independent service facility owner and operator, gaining a unique perspective on the automotive industry. This journey has allowed me to forge lasting connections with various schools, influential business leaders, and fellow service professionals in the area. My dedication to delivering top-notch service and building meaningful relationships with our community members is unwavering, and I'm eager to continue doing so here at Cosmo Motors.

Hello America, Jordan “carguyjordie” Bolick here. Husband, proud dad of five crazy kids, and an American patriot. Right out of high school I joined the US Army. After an unfortunate event I had to be discharged from Army. From that moment on I knew that the car business was what I wanted to do. At the age of 19 I started on my car business journey. Since then, I have worked at a few dealerships. I've worked in the Hickory and Wilkesboro areas as a sales person and have even worked as a finance manager previously.
